The "session" cookie is intended for the user's convenience. Our website creates this cookies with a copy of the initial session ID so that the user can be classed as "returning" and the contents of their shopping basket will still be available when the user returns to the website. If the user signs out, the login details are removed from the cookie. This cookie expires after 1 year.
